Oprah and Snoop Dogg Meet for First Time; Mend Differences with Photo

As much as people love when celebrities feud, it’s nice to see two fan favorites make up!

Oprah Winfrey and Snoop Dogg managed to put their differences aside, meet for the first time and make up with the awesome photo above.

The photo is captioned by Oprah at a pre-Oscar party last Friday,  ”our first meeting. Say WHAAAT??!! #Oscarparty.”

That’s the way to do it (leave a feud in the past that is)!

But how could two legends feud for seven years and have never met?

Well, that’s easy. Many celebrities use Twitter as a vessel to hate each other.

But these two feuded over something that had nothing to do with shade or beef via social media.

Oprah criticized hip-hop culture and rap music for misogynistic themes and named Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion, whichever is preferred) as one of the rappers to blame.

But Snoop didn’t stand for the criticism — firing back!

“I don’t like her no more. I really was offended, because I kind of like her,” he said. “Liked her. I’m very articulate, very intellectual. She didn’t even get a chance to even know me.”

A second photo was posted with the pair and Gayle King — captioned “Black History.”

Could that mean the feud is history? It looks like it.

Limbaugh Goes in on Oprah for Her Comments on Race & Obama (Listen)

limbaugh & oprah
*When Oprah speaks people listen.

And you can count on one of those listening being Rush Limbaugh.

As we reported earlier today, when asked about racism affecting President Obama, Lady O told a BBC interviewer that: “there is a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he is African-American.”

She also gave the example of GOP Congressman Joe Wilson shouting “You lie!” at the president during a Congressional address.

Like we said, Limbaugh was listening and like a hungry dog looking at a fresh piece of meat, he couldn’t resist. He had to go in on Oprah.

“Then how the hell did you become who you were?” Limbaugh said. “Why hasn’t anyone in your audience ever said ‘You lie!’? Because you have.”

“My God, Oprah, Obama was lying,” Limbaugh added.

And of course he didn’t miss the opportunity to point out that Oprah’s success is proof that racial prejudice isn’t a major factor in American life anymore.

“But Oprah, if black people in this country are so mistreated and so disrespected, how in the name of Sam Hill did you happen?… If there is a level of disrespect simply because he’s black then how, Oprah, have you managed to become the at-one-time most popular and certainly wealthiest television personality?”

People’s Choice Noms: Oprah, Halle, ‘Butler,’ Drake, Thicke

the butlerIf it’s November, it’s time for the 2014 Peoples Choice nominations to be made public.

In the daytime TV category, Steve Harvey not too surprisingly got a nomination for his talk show. Arsenio Hall and Queen Latifah were nominated in the Favorite New Talk Show Host category.

As far as music, Drake, Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis face-off in the Favorite Hip-Hop Artist category. Also, Alicia Keys, Ciara, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Robin Thicke earned nominations in the Favorite R&B Artist category.
